Evolving practical studies
Let’s become professionals of medical science, health and sports!

Kyoto Gakuen University, Vice President, Dean of Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Professor, Yasuo Hisa
Instructors with extensive experience across a wide range of fields are waiting for you.

In Japan, which has entered a super-aged society, we anticipate greater demand for personnel involved in medical care, mainly in care rehabilitation and measures for lifestyle diseases. For example, nurses and male nurses with high levels of expertise who can respond with advanced medical skills and technologies are certain to increase. Demand for speech therapists will increase not only in medical institutions but also in welfare facilities and personnel who have knowledge of both health and sports sciences and basic medical science will be required by various organizations, including companies, medical institutions and administrative agencies. The Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences develops these specialists who can contribute to the realization of a healthy life through the Department of Nursing, Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences and Disorders and Department of Health and Sports Sciences. A new campus and functional education facilities and instructors with extensive experience across a wide range of fields are waiting for you. We look for students who have studied at the University to lead the fields of medicine, welfare and sports in a collaborative effort.

We will develop your attitude for thinking what we can do for patients and handle situations proactively. Instructors with extensive practical experience will provide careful instruction. Feel free to tell us anything. We will respond to your will to study through our best efforts.
