Welcome to Kyoto Gakuen University Library

Introduction

The library collection at Kyoto Gakuen University consists of approximately 460,000 volumes, ranging from reference materials to technical works and professional journals, and includes a magazine collection of about 1,900 titles, both in Japanese and other languages, in addition to about the 15 daily newspapers found in the reading room. The collection is especially strong in economic fields both in Japanese and foreign languages. Using the computerized catalogue systems, students can search for resource materials in the collection. The library staff provides a reference service to assist students in finding necessary materials as well as a photocopy service and links to other university libraries.

A video library, with 18 moniters and video players, is located on the second floor. The video collection contains over 5,000 titles on a wide variety of subjects.
