Global Business and Economics

The Global Business and Economics Program will open in 2025. Contents are subject to change.

The Global Business and Economics Program is designed to aid students in acquiring practical skills that will contribute to businesses and society.
Students study a wide range of topics from basic knowledge such as microeconomics, accounting, management, and marketing to more contemporary topics such as data science and cross-cultural communication. Furthermore, many members of our diversity-rich faculty who have assembled for this program have experience as executives and other leading roles in top companies. Students learn a variety of strategies not only from textbooks but also from veterans with real-life experience, giving them an advantage when looking for employment in all types of industries.

During their first and second years, students mainly learn about liberal arts and information literacy and take specialized courses in business and economics and Japanese language. All classes except Japanese language courses are taught in English.
In their third and fourth years, students can participate in exclusive internship programs, take more advanced specialized courses, or join seminars to research a topic of their choice. Students can also opt to take specialized courses offered in Japanese. Given that both Japanese and international students are present in these classes, lectures also become a hub for cross-cultural exchange.

Details on the curriculum for the Global Business and Economics Program will be announced in the near future.
